Emergency Notification Signup Instructions

Through 51福利导航's Emergency Notification System, the 51福利导航 Sheriff's Office can quickly communicate important information to students, employees, and guests in the event of an emergency (e.g. earthquake, fire, gas leak, active shooter, power outage) through email and text messages. Depending on the nature of the emergency, students, employees, and guests may receive an order to shelter-in-place or evacuate to a safer location.

Students are automatically registered to receive emergency notifications. You can edit your information as well as add emergency contacts by logging into your student portal and updating the information on your profile.

Employees are automatically registered to receive emergency notifications. You can edit your information as well as add emergency contacts by logging into your employee portal and updating the information on your profile.

51福利导航 Safety and Security Services has created a NIXLE link, which is tied into the Campus Emergency Alert System. To sign up, follow the instructions below.

From a mobile device, text 888777 and enter the appropriate campus keyword. You will receive a response from Nixle to confirm that you are properly enrolled. You will then be given the option to reply with your email to also receive email alerts.

Opting out: Your mobile device will automatically opt out of the 51福利导航 Alert system after a three (3) month period. You will receive an automatic text reminder to renew.
